Day Thirteen: Europe or Bust
This morning we got up bright and early to get to Bro. Wan Mekwi’s church in Glasgow, making one quick stop on our way through the highlands to see the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

The church in Glasgow is actually held in a classroom in the Glasgow Caledonian University, which was actually really nice. Bro Mekwi is a math professor at the University of Western Scotland so it was a fitting location. There was plenty of room and no shortage of comfortable seating, and the preaching was amazing. It was so neat to get to hear a whole sermon preached in a Scottish accent! After the service a bunch of little kids came crowding around Dad yelling, “I want to play the fiddle! I want to play the fiddle!”

After saying our goodbyes to the congregation, we headed to the Mekwi’s house to eat dinner and spend the night. It was a wonderful evening, spent eating good food, playing good music and fellowshipping with amazing people - Bro. Mekwi, his wife, Lena, their sons, William (age 4), Benjaman (age 2) and Levi (one week old!), and their close friend, Amaka.
Well, I need to get my beauty rest! It’s going to be a long day tomorrow because we’re headed back toward London!
I love you all!
One of the greatest treasures on a family trip is to connect with God's family around the world. Our Lord has a big "United Kingdom"! I can also relate to this dear family opening their home one week after baby arrives. I am sure you all blessed them!
